Phase 1
The primary goal for the TAC 2019 Conference landing page was to create a central, informative, and engaging digital hub for the event. The key objectives were to clearly present the conference schedule, highlight the lineup of speakers, provide logistical details, and ultimately, drive attendee registrations through a clear and accessible call-to-action.
Phase 2
Ideation and Research
The project began with a research phase to understand the needs of the two primary user groups: potential attendees and confirmed speakers. I analyzed past event feedback and mapped out the ideal user journey to ensure critical information—like the schedule, venue details, and speaker bios—was easy to find. This strategic planning phase was essential for structuring the page in a way that would build excitement and answer key questions upfront.
Phase 3
Design
Using Figma, I designed a visually dynamic and highly organized interface. The design strategy was to create a professional yet energetic aesthetic that reflected the innovative spirit of the conference. I established a strong visual hierarchy to guide users through the different sections of the page, from the main "Register Now" call-to-action to the detailed agenda and speaker profiles. All components were designed to be fully responsive, ensuring a seamless experience across desktop and mobile platforms.
Phase 4
Development
I was responsible for the front-end development of the landing page, translating the approved Figma designs into a pixel-perfect, functional website. I used my expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to build the page structure, styling, and interactive elements. The site was built on the CSS Bootstrap framework to ensure a robust and consistent responsive layout that performed well across all modern browsers.
From the initial concept to the final launch, I managed the end-to-end execution of the TAC Conference page. This included defining the information architecture, creating the user experience and visual design, and handling all front-end development. The result was a polished and user-friendly landing page that successfully served as the primary marketing and informational tool for the conference.
